INFRASTUCTURE

PG Study center classes were started from 2012 in a new building at Asutosh College Second Campus situated at Bhasa, South-24-Pgs, WestBengal. There are two lecture hall and two modern laboratories of both Environmental Sciences and Chemistry.

The Chemistry and ENVS laboratories are designed while keeping all the statutory norms and safety standards. It is well ventilated as well as spacious. It has some of the most accurate digital measuring instruments required for measuring chemicals. Here, a scientific attitude is developed in the students along with the ability to analyze, collate, compute, integrate and deduce. In the lab, the students learn to handle apparatus and chemicals. They improve their understanding of various chemical reactions and chemical processes.

Also the ENVS laboratory maintains field equipment for environmental studies in terrestrial, fresh water, and marine environments, including research boats, soil and sediment coring devices, soil sampling devices, an electronic sub-bottom profiler and many other equipment and materials.
