Activities

  • The Club serves tea and snacks regularly. During festive occasions like Poila Baisakh (Bengali New Year Day), Bijoya Dashami (when the college reopens after the Puja vacation) and Poush Parban (December), the Club organizes special gathering. In winter, the club keeping the popular demand serves coffee on the working days.
  • The club also organizes a Hilsa Utsav during the rainy season.
  • Every year, an Annual Get Together is organized by the Club on 24th December (the last working day before the winter recess), where retired teachers and ex-teachers are invited. It is like a reunion of the Asutosh family. It is worth mentioning that the NAAC Peer Team Report in 2002 made special mention of this Annual Get Together.
