About us

Ministry of Education, Government of India, has undertaken to conduct an annual web-based All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) since 2010-11 to build a robust database and to assess the higher education scenario of the country.

The survey includes all the higher education institutions of the country and data is being collected on several parameters such as details of teaching and non-teaching staff, student enrolment, programmes offered, examination results, scholarships, financial information and infrastructure.

These are useful in making informed policy decisions about higher education institutions. Moreover, the data collected through AISHE is utilized in research for development of education sector.

From the very beginning, Asutosh College (AISHE Code: C-11866), has regularly participated in this survey and submitted the required information.
