Asutosh College Linkage with Industry committee along with all the department and teachers therein are ever present to hand hold their students to 'choose the job they would love'. This committee plays a crucial role in linking industry with academics and finds job opportunities for under graduate and post graduate students.

INTRODUCTION

The Linkage with Industry committee is an important part of a developed and competitive institution and is considered as one of the most important unit of an educational institution. Asutosh College Linkage with Industry committee has a team of committed experts who always come forward to impart invaluable suggestions for the betterment of the students. The Linkage with Industry committee of the College is well networked with Industries and its primary aim is to find a suitable job for our students in reputed companies.

The National Educational Policy (NEP) always recommends a strong Industry linkage with emphasis on exposure for students to real-life examplesand making them globally competent. It is expected that a UniversityThis Industry Linkage Committee of with aconducive and impactful industry interface will result in innovations enablingsolutions to Global challenges. The NEP has also recommended that students,as a part of holistic education, will be provided the opportunities with localindustry as well as research internships with faculty and researchers, whichwill further improve their employability. NEP 2020 also advocates multidisciplinary learner-centric education, giving importance to learningoutcomes.

The Linkage with Industry committee aims at creating an interface between the world of employment and the academia, thereby making it mutually beneficial to the students/alumni of the Institute. Every year host of companies are invited to the campus to hold recruitments for the students.The committe is committed to create a successful future and better placement opportunity for willing students.

THE BEGINNING

This committee started working in the end of 2022.

OBJECTIVES

To shape a bright future for the students.
To inform students about the range of professional alternatives that are available and assist them in determining their career goals.
To locate qualified businesses and assist them in fulfilling their employment objectives.
To act as a bridge between students, alumni and employers.
To organize awareness camps for the students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India.

REGULAR ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY THE COMMITTEE

Organizing workshops that provide insights on relevant topics to the students
Holding training sessions on building aptitude, logical reasoning, qualitative and quantitative skills.
Organizing seminars to strengthen the communication skills of the students such that they can face the bigger world with confidence.
Organizing industrial campaigns for the students to give them an exposure to the professional work space.
