One major problem for the sustainable aquaculture is the treatment of nutrient-rich wastewater, which is a by-product of all the Intensive aquaculture practices. To minimize this issue Aquaponics could be alternative fish farming methods over all traditional fish farming to reduce the environmental degradation. Aquaponics is a modern day integration farming between plants and fish in a same nutrient cycle and the term originates from the two words aquaculture (the growing of fish in a closed environment) and hydroponics (the growing of plants in a soil-less environment). Today aquaponics become one of the most evolving eco-friendly aqua farming techniques in limited space and water efficiency. Indeed, this is a very economical technique to employ commercial agriculture with aquaculture in water scarce and soil less polluted areas.
