Banglar Uchchashiksha

The Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, is endowed with the responsibility of enhancing Access, Equity and Quality in education across the State by bringing into practice the overarching vision and mission of 21st century Education at the higher education levels. Hence, The West Bengal Higher Education Department has launched a new portal in the year 2019 named "Banglar Uchchashiksha". It has two kinds of users to access all related information. First, it provides openly accessible information to the students to reduce confusion about online college admissions in the lockdown.The new portal provides information on available seats in all the colleges in the state with subject combination. Not only that, it provides information about different Scholarships available for the students. Secondly, Higher education department can access all data related to Govt. and Govt. aided colleges such as employee information, admission details, Infrastructural details, programme details etc. The portal of Banglar Uchchashiksha may be accessed from: https://banglaruchchashiksha.wb.gov.in/

The Banglar Uchchashiksha portal started working in Asutosh College since 2020.College Authority has assigned Dr. Santanu Chowdhury, Assistant Professor in Environmental Sience and Sk Mohiuddin, Assistant Professor in Computer Science, for uploading the data in regular basis.

The college updates the data related to College and Employees in regular interval as per the instruction given by Higher Education Department.
