Course Syllabus

a) Introduction to LaTeX as scientific writing, preparation and compilation of an article in LaTeX (softwares to install: TeXStudio in Linux/Windows).

b) Introducing document classes e.g. article, book, thesis, CV, letter, homework assignment, calendar, poster, presentation etc.
(12 Lectures = 30Hrs ; Credit 30)

c) Packages, preamble and body of LaTeX using titles, abstract, introduction, chapters, sections and subsections, paragraph &verbatim.
(10 Lectures = 25Hrs ; Credit 25)

d) Figures, tables, references and bibliography, hyperlinked citations & points.

e) Manipulating fonts and special characters, expressing mathematical equations and symbols.
