INTRODUCTION

The undergraduate examination committee is an apex body of the college. This committee is authorised to conduct examination and policy decision for organising and holding examination. It mainly has three functions- Examination, Record maintenance and Administration. The main function of this committee is to make schedule of examination, carry out examination properly and publication of results both in case either for own institution or for University examination. The assistance of the college teachers and office staff are also available to assist the committee.

THE BEGINNING

The examination committee commenced its journey with the establishment of the college. It was established for the purpose of conducting examinations, evaluation of answer scripts and declaration of results. The activities of the committee are supervised by a coordinator and are guided by the Vice- Principal. Many eminent teachers had participated and had been the convenor of the examinations.

OBJECTIVES

• To prepare an examination schedule
• To approve and finalise the dates of Internal examination
• To decide the question papers pattern and evaluation procedure
• To arrange the seating plan for the examinees and display them on the notice board.
• To prepare and display the duty roaster in the notice book for teachers for invigilation.

MODE OF CONDUCT

Usually there are various modes of examinations like Internal, Tutorial, Theory, Practical, Viva Voce etc.
