Following the UGC rules and regulation the SC/ST and Other Backward Class Cell of Asutosh College has issues notices at regular interval to all the backward class students to inform any sort of scholarships, grants, facilities, opportunities, admission criteria, relaxation etc. in the College Notice Board as well as on College Website.

Several meetings are held to discuss different agendas like admission criteria for the SC/ ST/OBC-A and OBC-B students, related activities/scholarships of SC/ST/OBC-A & OBC-B students for the different financial year as well as some miscellaneous agendas.
