Course Objective

Understanding of the central concept, approaches and application of communication in personal and professional arena.Good communication skills are essential to express self to others and to understand others. In work field, poor communication skill creates misunderstanding and mislead the fellow colleagues too.  Communication gap may cause frustration. Communication may take a life-time to master. Communication doesn’t mean only language or verbal communication. Gestures – postures all are the part of communication. A good communicator has the ability to speak well. To convince the people, to motivate the fellow colleagues or the chief of any organization towards any common goal. Now- a- days there are many ventures that runs in’ PPP Model’ , i.e, Public- Private Partnership. In these sectors, communication and the speaking ability matters. A good leader always should be knowledgeable and a good speaker.  A good speech is something that can engage your listener completely.

Course Outcome

  1. Developing communication skills that can help a student in his/her professional life to social life.
  2. Developing the concept of language, speech and presentation.
  3. Students will gain experience in interpersonal, group, and public communication.
  4. Students will develop strategies for overcoming speech anxiety.
  5. Students will practice delivery of professional and personal speeches using visual-aides where appropriate to enhance presentation.

Class/Learning activities

  • Lecturers through online mode - Main Class will take place on Google meet. The class will be streaming on official YouTube channel of the college. Students will access only the YouTube channel. A feedback form will be shared in the chat-box of the YouTube channel to confirm the attendance after each Lecturer.
